Photography + Media

As a Photography + Media student, you will join a lively community of creative people from around the world and many backgrounds: some are new to college and some already have degrees in other disciplines. Many will be working or raising families, and quite a few could be military veterans. Some will be working towards an A.A.S. or A.F.A. degree, and others will be working photographers who want to learn more. Each brings a unique perspective, and all are drawn to the medium.

In all our classes, we will encourage you to think critically, take risks, solve problems, make creative decisions, and understand media in the broader context of history and theory. In group critiques you will have the chance to hear how your work seems to others, and how to talk to others constructively about their work.
